Immersing tomorrow's workforce in today's manufacturing
Greater Lafayette Commerce’s Manufacturing Week, held each October, transforms how K-12 students see modern manufacturing. With hands-on experiences for elementary students, immersive activities for middle schoolers, and high school facility tours, it sparks career interest while showcasing the industry’s regional impact. Open to all students across nine counties and 27 school districts, it’s shaping the future of manufacturing.
Manufacturing Discovery
Come join the fun for a half day workshop engaging grade school students in Manufacturing discovery activities. Station activities include these groups: LEAN activity, quality activity, supply chain activity, and a teamwork activity.
Manufacturing Expo
Join us as we explore careers in manufacturing! Students in 6-8th grade are invited to the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds in Lafayette for the day.
Manufacturing Tours
Join us for Industry tours to 2-3 manufacturing facilities. Tours will be offered in several locations. Please sign up for the best fit for your school(s).
